Two airports
Istanbul has two international airports: Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on the Asian side. Which one suits you best depends on the boarding pier. We will share our advice when the pier is announced.
A fairytale festival on the Istanbul Bosphorus4 days, boat milongas on the Bosphorus every night
About
Bosphorus Tango Festival brings tango to the strait that splits Istanbul between Europe and Asia. Every evening milonga of the festival takes place on a boat, sailing past palaces, waterside mansions and under the bridges while the city glows on both sides.
Early July is the best time of year for this: long, warm evenings, a light breeze off the water and sunset late enough that the first tandas are danced in daylight.
Program
Every evening milonga is on the boat. Departure pier and hours will be announced.
The boat
We cruise up the strait and back with the lights of both shores on either side. One tanda you are passing a palace, the next you are under a bridge.
Line-up
We are putting the line-up together. The first names will be announced soon.

Days are warm and the sun sets around 20:40. In the evening the breeze on the Bosphorus cools things down, so a light cardigan or shawl for the boat is a good idea.
